there are more than 14,000 sanctions on Russia they were supposed to the economy but the opposite is happening Russia is projected to grow by 3.2% this year broadly three factors number one Russia’s energy sales in April Russia’s energy Revenue was $4 billion it nearly doubled from last year 14 billion reason number two why they’re thriving is wartime spending Russia is expected to spend $140 billion on defense this year that’s 7.1% % of their GDP and finally reason number three preparation it started in 2014 Putin ordered the invasion of Ukraine’s Crimea and since then he’s been on a mission a mission to make Russia sanctions proof Russia has around $631 billion in the bank so the moral of the story is quite clear sanctions are not a silver bullet you can beat them with proper preparation

Western Companies Ditch Plans to Leave Russia | Vantage with Palki Sharma

Many Western businesses that promised to exit Russia after the Ukraine invasion of 2022 have reportedly shelved those plans. While more than 380 Western firms have abandoned their Russian operations, around 2,000 of them are yet to do so. Russia’s strict measures like exit taxes and discounts on asset sales have forced Western firms to rethink their decision. This U-turn also raises questions about the effectiveness of Western sanctions. Though Russia is said to be under 14,000 sanctions, their economy is poised to outperform the US, France, Germany and Britain. How has Putin managed to achieve this? Palki Sharma tells you.

  1. They aren’t real sanctions, they’re made up to make it seem the democrats are doing something, but they are in bed with Russia. Just like guns laws. There’s 100’s of gun laws, but they don’t mean anything, it’s just made up to make it look like the dems are tough on crime, when they are cheese balls, and you suckers go along with it.

  2. Nope. The prolongation of the war is creeping Russia already. That is what the sanctions were meant for. Now Putin wants to open talks with Ukraine and he has been threatening the West more about sending weapons to Ukraine.

  3. Putin is to smart for the rest of the world. We have to admit that. We here in the west simply don’t put our best people in the positions where is needed we still are pushing forward interest based moguls and that’s now is coming home to bite us in the ass.

  4. India is a hypocrite. They like to play both sides. They’re helping Russia on this war by buying up cheap Russian oil instead of blocking it like the rest of the Democratic world. I think we should put sanctions on India to get on board and stop doing any sort of business with Russia or Chinaplays both sides. They’re not really on sides. Thus they cannot be trusted at all in my opinion.

  5. Is it because of India economy is strong enough and the Russian holding a lot of India rupee.
Rupee is beating Euro and US dollar.
    India power…..

  6. Maybe it's is just that the West is not as powerful as the world believe it is… You know when you make your enemy believe you will crush them, you win without having to fight…

  7. West sanctions can only use on small weak nations,,BUT now on powerfull nation that dare to ware with the west,,?…..

  8. Russia is the largest gold producer in the world now,,,,?….
Usa is the world most money printing machines in the world,,,

  9. Yes I luv all country make it peace and safe to all people to all country god bless all country and have great day Mam more power of stay safe and good health to all 🫶🏻❤️✌️😘🙏🏻

  10. Say the real reason why they are striving is because your home country India China and Iran supporting them put yourself in the oil and gas and continue to do business with them so you all are supporting Russia to kill innocent people in Ukraine

  11. Sanctions only works if the whole world sanctions that country ….with a split world now …we know it will never be very effective theres always other alternatives…

  12. I IOANE SALANOA IN THE FIRST DAY JOE BIDEN THE UNITED STATE OF AMERICA President. "THAT HE JOE BIDEN SANCTION PUTIN WITH TOILET PAPER" TODAY I AM RIGHT 👍👍👍

  13. sanctions and tarrifs won't stop a country like china because china provides much more value to markets than usa does. in the end countries like china and russia can simply deprive usa of resources by trading with other people instead. this is why sanctions and tariffs don't work. it's a greedy move from usa but it's a stupid move.

but what DOES work is crime, and that is what usa has resorted to with nato. it's a crime organization, and they are using ukraine as a proxy to fight russia. and actually bombing russian plants and pipelines and lining farms with mines. this is usa's method of trying to even the trade leverage. it was nato the crime organization that invaded ukraine. that was a redline that russia told them to not to do that. but also usa did more than invade ukraine they hijacked it as a proxy. same with isreal and now taiwan. same fact patterns in those places aswell.
