  1. Starmer’s so-called “Great British Energy” is a typical neoliberal con. It won’t be a publicly-owned energy supplier. It will use public money to build green energy infrastructure that private energy companies will then use to keep ripping us off.

    It’s socialism for capitalists. https://t.co/bdlELKwb9d

  2. Well colour me fuckin surprised… Everything done by these parasites, is in the guise of “this will be better, we are going to make the bestest changes everrrrr..”, when really it’s just another way to make the rich richer and ourselves more broke.. This man’s a Tory in red. Human rights lawyer, ma feckin arse.

  3. Yup, but as a still SNP member, our party has bleak track record here. Party votes for National energy company, gets a sham retail version that doesn’t get off the ground, Swinney then recently rejoices in National investment bank derisking investment of Texas oil and gas private equity firm, in a green Port that avoids a number of taxes but claims he will strain every sinew to grow economy to produce tax revenue to pay to alleviate all the shit things the growing economy built in structural inequality, creates. Different cheeks of the same arse, both wanting to sell Scotland off. Scotland needs big Indy, but it also need wee ‘i’ Indy too and Swinney et al have avoid giving us any of that. We are still dependent on large landowners, still dependent on central government, with more to come with the staggeringly bad care bill, we are still dependent on big oil of our energy.

  4. It will be partly owned by the government, according to their plans.

Just wanted to throw that out there.
