Some kids were chasing it around, it looked pretty tired. I managed to catch it in a tshirt & bring it home. Had to make a cage out of what I could cobble together at home & bought buckwheat for it to eat, as no petshop nearby and Google tells me they can eat that. Seems happy enough now, though our cat wants to eat it. If anyone knows of someone who near Sundrive, d12, who owns a blue budgie that got out, please let me know. Thanks!

Poor little thing, well done for taking him/her in.
Fair play for rescuing it
Most likely transported into the country illegally
Looks like my budgie, but he flew out the window in 1987, I doubt its him.
Someone may teach Eamonn to drive
Something like this happened to me a few years ago (i live pretty close by) – flew right into my parents house. We have a pet bird so luckily we had a cage and were able to catch it. We brought it to a vet for a week but luckily although we didnt find any owner we have a friend of a friend who looks after birds and takes them in. If nothing crops up after a little while or you need provisions hit me up and i can try recommend some options
Aube you can check with the local coal mines. Hopefully they haven’t all died in a gas leak.
