1. So what are the ‘contentious technicalities’ that have resulted in the refusal of indefinite leave to remain?

   Seems to be another guardian article where the missing information speaks louder than the stuff that’s in there. If the reason was so ridiculous I’d expect it would be covered in there but it’s not
