  1. I believe he's actually said there isn't the cash, hasn't the Conservative party refused them access to the treasury as is tradition? Can't make an ambitious plan without finances

  13. Truss destroyed the economy. The Tories gave shed loads of cash to their friends. The Tories have claimed the glory for promising compensation that will never have to come out of their budget.

    There's no effing money left.

    I have my issues with Starmer, but he's not breaking promises in every case here! Some of it is avoiding breaking actual promises now he knows what can't be done cos the Tories screwed up the country.

  17. All of these are understandable though as the Tories have run scotched earth over the economy so Labor haven't got the fiscal headroom to do these. He said as such on the green pledge money!

    The Tories even screwed the Non-Dom fixes Labor wanted to do by taking the idea and mangling it.

    2020 was a long time ago politically, so i fully get what he can't deliver any more. I'm going to hold him to what he says in the manifesto and during debates.

Starmer said in 2020, yes FOUR years ago, before the Tories destroyed all the finances, he wanted to remove tuition fees. So, Channel 4, get a grip. And this has been reported for FAKE news.

    Are there no dynamic people in Britain that have the skills along with having integrity, being totally honest, upright, forthright and morally clean that want to help all British citizens have a safe and secure life and who would want to lead us as a prime minister. With the leaders the present political system grows one leader is the same as the other. How on earth can we choose the best political leaders when there aren’t any to choose from? Oh, by the way, when we need the money for war, magically it is found but when we need it for getting rid of the NHS waiting list there isn’t any!

  34. For the 2nd part, Labour needs to talk with European & even some other countries to expand the Youth mobility visa scheme. That would win back many youths who ere & still are incredibly pissed off with Brexit & the loss of free movement. Labour will also need to bring up Brexit & a possible return to the EU or Single Market.

  38. There’s a lot of things that were promised pre covid times. Things have obviously changed post covid times so don’t expect to have things in a recession. Tory’s single handled finessed the system and pocketed profits
