Yo yo, i moved here 2 days ago (job related).
I went to a store called “K market” or something wanted to buy an xbox or ps5. They had this 499.90 ps5 but when i went for pay it they said i need a special card for it.
I said sure give me one, they said i need a bank account 🥲. I will got bank account soon tho but i asked if i can use some1 elses card and give him cash. They were like “nope illegal” .

So long story short, anyone can tell me a store where xbox or PS5 is not over priced and dont need a special card or whatever to buy it?

  1. Ask a mate to go buy it. Nobody will notice and if they did, they wouldn’t give a fuck. Stand right next to them at the same cashier and nothing will happen.

    Or wait for your own :shrug:

    These card discounts can be pretty good. Additionally, they are the bane of grocery shopping.

  2. You can use someone elses plussa -card, but don’t mention it😁 Also there could be better prices in stores like Power or just order it from online

  3. You don’t need the card to buy it. It’s just 100€ cheaper with it. But someone you know or will meet soon will have the card. They can buy it for you.

  4. Sorry, can’t help you find one but “Plussa-etu” on the sign means you need a “plussa-kortti” which is their customer card. While using someone else’s card is against their rules, me buying the console and you then buying it from me for the same price would be totally ok.

  5. We use each others cards all the time. Like I have gone to the store with my mom’s card. My brother has paid with mine, even with my bank card and no one noticed.

    But the cards for K and S stores are nice. You get sales and cheaper prices.

    If you have a coworker eho has the card, ask if they woild be willing to buy it for you.

  7. I have about four or five plussa cards laying around, all with different customer number, and nobody cares if you use someone elses card. Plus it is not by any means illegal to resell a playstation 10 seconds after you paid for it.

  12. Looks like everywhere has it on sale right now.
    Try Gigantti, Power, Karkkainen, Verkkokauppa, Prisma…all selling them at the same price.
    Or just ask someone you know to borrow their Plussa Kortti, nobody is going to enforce that rule.

  16. I live close to a K-City and can even go buy it for you with my plus card and take 20€ “shipping fee” if you want to pick it up at Rautatieasema.

  17. Retailers like Prisma, Gigantti and Verkkokauppa are selling it for 499 with no need for any card. You could buy it from one of those.

  19. That special card is propably k-plussakortti so you can buy it in sale.

  21. Gigantti has the same discount aswell. You don’t need any memberships
