My son has been waiting 10 months for his provisional.
I waited 3 months back in 2018 and that was only due to a cancellation a few days prior, sad to see the backlog has got this high
Never really understood why it was ok to ride on public transport with large crowds of people when we had the restrictions…. But sitting in a car for 45 mins with 1 other person wasn’t deemed safe.
An interesting couple of first names in this article, Aerona and Loveday. Are they typically Welsh?
Round mine they make available a week’s tests 6 months in advance, every Monday morning. Except they go extremely quickly and there is no specific time so you have to sit at your pc all morning refreshing and hoping.
They should extend the validity of the theory test really. Can’t book your practical until you pass the theory but a passed theory test is only valid 2 years
Would be good if they considered using a bicycle in the meantime (if they’re not already). 🙂
Passed mine last October having booked it in May. My nerves weren’t based around a fear of failing the test but rather a fear of how long it would take to get another chance at it.
So fucking glad I managed to pass at the end of 2019
Sad news, but not unexpected the year following a highly contiguous airborne virus in a career where you spend 8 hours a day inside a poorly ventilated metal box.
