Please know that my intention is just knowing your POV. I’m particularly interested as an expat recently moved to Norway who coincidentally have a daughter that somehow resembles this little girl.

  1. As long as it’s not her liver, I couldn’t care less who’s on the package

  2. One comment I saw which made me pause was “We don’t eat brown children!” like…did you think it was made from real children? And you were okay with it so long as they’re white??

  3. Sometimes I do not understand how mean people can be. So sad😢

  4. Evil knows many forms.

What saddens me is that people are now confident enough to be horribly racist without disguising their true identity, knowing people around them will accept it.

  5. There are actually a lot of racists in Norway. A lot of us hates to admit it, but it doesn’t change the facts.

  6. Some of the comments:

«Pakistan og Congo representera norske barn?»
    • «Jeg spiser ikke brune barn»
    • «Nei asj fyyyfaen»
«Jeg kjoper bare de med norsk hudfarge»

    «Nei hva faen»
    • «16% med innvandrer bakgrunn i Norge, 40% pá boksen»
    • «Fá vekk dei svarte boksene»
    • «Hva faen er dette»
    • «Horfor er bare 50 prosent a de norske?»

  7. Don’t think the anger was directed against the girl but the business/brand replacing what many consider national symbols.

  8. I dont care as long as it’s not an adult. THAT would be wrong. We only eat kids here, not chewie adults.

  9. the thing that baffles me is why people give a flip about this kinda thing. I mean the kids on the packaging have never exactly made a difference in the contents.

I guess I have limited amounts of energy per day, so instead of wasting energy on this thing I chose to do other shit that is more important to me. Oh how nice it would be to have enough energy to waste on things like this.

ETA; Just wanna mention how I know a few people who were adopted to norway as babies, aka they don’t know their origin culture/country at all. The only place in the world for them that is home is norway. And its sad to me whenever I see them treated like this girl has been. I’ve been fighting back if I am present with them as it happens but it usually doesn’t happen that way.

Those times when I’ve been present though and clapping back, I do wanna mention how funny the reaction of the racists were, because they really couldn’t handle being confronted by a 45-50kg angry short girl LOL.

  10. Newsflash, the world- and thus the net- is filled with complete morons.

  11. Racist are stupid no matter where you go. Even if we pretend that they had a valid concern with the company, which of course they do not, lashing out at kid who had nothing to do with the decision is just plain dumb. Besides they are just giving free marketing to the company.

I am of a similar skin tone as the girl in the picture and I typically do not encounter racism IRL. Most of what I have encountered has been online.

  12. A proper Pakistani parent would never feed that crap to their kid.

  13. A few years ago, they had a kid with Down syndrome and there was a similar level of stupid and hateful outrage.

  14. They should be deported the lot of them. I am of course referring to those vomiting up their racist comments over a smiling girl on a yellow box, deport them straight into the north sea.

  15. Social media is great for giving certain idiots rope to hang themselves with.

  16. The people are obv. Racists.

Also commenting since its hilarious that you styled your post like a generic LinkedIn shitpost.
