So I called The Bird Cage in Crumlin and it turns out they're minding the other bird belonging to the owner of the one I found. They owner is away and the bird I found escaped on Friday just before they left. So he's been reunited with his pal and I got a free car collar for my trouble! Our cat was determined to kill the budgie, so happy to have it out of the house and safe from our killer cat.

Got the name wrong! It’s Bird Jungle on Keeper Road. The Bird Cage is a 1996 comedy starring Robin Williams & Nathan Lane. Easy mistake to make.
