We have a yellow clutch in the government.
Climate goals? Nein danke.
For scale, even with a phase out plan, the last German nuclear power plant was supposed to shut down in [2036](https://static.dw.com/image/6469882_7.webp), instead they met this goal in [2023](https://www.base.bund.de/EN/ns/nuclear-phase-out/nuclear-phase-out_node.html). Who needs 13 years worth of extra low carbon electricity?
Looks like some goals are worth bringing forward more than others.
Tells you everything you need to know about the place of climate on Germany priorities list.
They shut down all their nuclear plants and reopened Coal plants, because they thought it was dangerous as Fukushima, but Germanys tectonic plates are nowhere near as active as the Pacific Rim
In other news, the sky is blue (for now).
Can’t do much with the FDP blocking everything.
Like many other countries
