To the girl who carried her dog while feeling Russian advance at the beginning of the invasion. I love you. People like you are why this war is worth fighting for.

  1. There were a lot of heart rending photos and video of people fleeing at the beginning of the war and I wonder where they now, if they still live. One in particular that got to me was a clearly starved pretty young woman (maybe 15 or 16) who had managed to escape Mariupol after it had been under siege and made it to the Polish border. She was the only one from her family to make it out alive and appeared to have arrived at the border alone and traumatized. She was emaciated and looked like she hadn’t eaten for weeks and was in a thin sweater insufficient for the cold.

Another photo I recall was of a small hatchback car with a dead cat curled up in the bottom front passenger seat and fragments of the owners teeth and jaw bone beside it. There were cannon holes in the back window from the Russians shooting through the window at a woman trying to get away from the invading Russian army and they shot her through the back of the head. Her body had been removed, but parts of her and her pet cat that the Russians also killed were left behind.

Putin must be stopped by overwhelming force, now. Urge your governments to confront Putin by force now. If they’re too cowardly, then to donate arms and material to Ukraine’s defense and the defeat of Russia’s evil criminal horde now. In the meantime, while our governments dither and fail to do nearly enough to stop Putin’s expansion of his criminal empire and genocidal invasion, donate to the only armed force actually putting their lives on the line to defend Ukraine and the entire free world at [https://u24.gov.ua/](https://u24.gov.ua/)

  2. Uh… why would she carry the dog like that? Was the dog paralyzed or smth?
