  1. To be fair, the Romans defaced and destroyed a lot of stuff in a lot of countries first.

  2. A conservator will spend days removing the tag without hurting the wall. This is gonna be expensive.

  3. Is this how we know European summers have started? When idiots deface monuments and ancient relics?

  4. There justs need to be an EU-wide 6 month sentence for this stuff. Probably way too harsh, but our histories already have to fight the growth of modern society and weather, why are we adding to the list with shit like tagging.

  5. As you can see, it’s not the first defacement. And the guy who scratched his girlfriend’s name on a brick in the Colosseum in Rome was not alone either. I saw hundreds of names and initials scratched into bricks there. I wish they could all be caught.

  6. Ironic with how much the Dutch complain about tourists

  7. Dear Italians: I am very sorry; this absolute idiot came from my country. I hope I’ll still be welcomed this summer and I promise to teach my kids better behavior than this. Don’t hold back on punishing him please, he deserves it.
