both labor and conservative government over the last two three decades hollowed out defense labor conveniently dropped my point about Labor uh but labor took it from 3% of GDP right down to 2.2% of GDP the biggest single drop from their tenure in 1997 and then at the last minute dumped in some cash because of theat Wars so I think there’s a lot of dishonesty going on in Labor’s pitch half the shadow cabinet voted against Trident we’ll get on to Trident in a moment but they’ve got a point there haven’t they when the Tores came to power in 2010 defense spending as percentage of GDP was 2.4% it went down to 2.1% under Cameron Osborne after the annexation of Crimea after that in 2015 to 2016 it’s not going to hit 2.5 again apparently until 2030 you did Hollow it up well did I ever say that the conservatives and the labor party didn’t I said time and time again in making my case for more funding in 2019 I was honest about our record and honest about Labour’s record and that’s what’s missing in this campaign from labor honesty

  9. Because labours voters are mostly of a younger generation as you can see from their YouTube channel aiming at younger again with joke posts. Last time they were in had a financial crisis, an illegal war and Gordon Brown sold all our gold reserves for a record low price.

    Not saying they are worse than Tories just they are not the miracle answer to all our problems
