  1. Bild gave Nagelsmann a rating of 4 for last night’s match against Ukraine (1 being best and 6 being worst).

I commented in the GDT that it didn’t look like Germany was playing “tournament football”. It was too wide open, too unstructured, and too loose. Ukraine played bus parking tactics in the second half and only conceded half-chances and stray attempts. Obviously Germany had some near attempts but it was nothing conclusive and most shots came from unlikely angles. Going the other way, a better and more driven team would’ve scored on the counter against Germany.

Hopefully it was not a consequential performance and the team play better and better in the matches to come, but that aura of being a top team is definitely not back.

My thing with Nagelsmann is that I don’t know what he wants to accomplish on the pitch. It’s a little bit of anything. It doesn’t have an identity.

Also let’s not talk about Gündigan and Nagelsmann’s obsession with him…

  2. Müller accidentally used the Madrid anthem on his tiktok story bruh 💀 the Thomas Müller to Madrid rumors are gonna be 🔥🤣

  3. I enjoyed the match last night tbh. We pressed well, pressured them and came close quite a lot. Musiala and Wirtz are gonna be a treat to watch. And I’m hoping with Füllkrug up front and Sané as well, we’ll have good goal threat.

  4. Not sure the validity of each rumour but in the last 48 hours it seems like we’re starting to see how this summer could start to shake out.

Not speculating on new incoming players, how would people feel about a summer where we:

    **Extend:** Kimmich, Davies, Musiala

**Sell:** Coman, Upamecano, Goretzka and Gnabry

Gnabry will be tough but he’s still got homegrown status in England which could make him extremely valuable to Big 6 sides.

  5. >🔴 New rumors about Bruno #Fernandes and FC Bayern:

    >Currently, the 29 y/o from ManUtd is not a hot topic of interest at Bayern, and there’s no need for a player in that >position right now as Jamal Musiala and Thomas Müller are under contract …

    >… and Xavi Simons is on the list for summer as reported days ago ✔️

    >@SkySportDE
    > 🇵🇹

    Pletti

  6. I love me a good transfer saga but I also wouldn’t be opposed to surprise signings.

It was reported we wanted to be mostly done by the end of the Euros, right? Then we should start getting rumors soon.

  7. euros and t20 world cup at the same time. I aint getting bored this june

  8. Everyone screaming for Kimmich extension I really don’t get. Yes he had couple of good games or half off season as RB. But with Stanisic being back and Maz & Boey is he clearly better then all off them? Would Boey been as bad as Kimmich vs Vinny?

Ryerson did as good job as Kimmich did on Vinny if not better?

  9. Can Madrid get any stronger than they are right now? It looks like they literally have very little room for improvement if any just like Manchester City has been for a while. I wonder what other players they will try to get this summer. Now we have two super teams in world football: Madrid and City.

  10. Has Nagelsmann ever confirmed that Gündogan will start no matter what? A lot of fans are complaining about him and Nagelsmann’s obsession with him. Surely Sane will start if fit though, right?

  11. > important figures at Bayern see Thomas Müller as a potential boss at the club in the future – either on the supervisory or executive board. It is said at Säbener Straße that Müller is exactly the man who could one day follow in Uli Hoeneß’ footsteps when the latter actually retires. Müller has long been the most important representative of the club – even though he’s still a player. So far, Müller is still not considering this idea in a concrete way – he wants to enjoy his active career as a footballer as long as he’s having fun and can compete at the highest level. Within the club, a possible role for Müller after his retirement has been under consideration for some time

    > [@_kochmaximilian, @Abendzeitung]

Player > Player Manager > Manager > Executive Board lets go

  12. So Pletti and Romano confirming our (strong) interest in Simons. To bad during the Euros nothing will happen so we have to wait a long time. Advantage for the current window (rebuild) is thst Simons would be a loan + purchase next year, so no high expenses for this window allowing us to spend the money elsewhere and use the “planned Wirtz money” for Simons next window.

So we still have a big chunk of money left to invest into the midfielder and whereever necessary (Gruda and a Striker backup which we apparently are looking for? If Davies extends a LB is out of the question)

  13. It’s exam week and all I’ve been thinking about is football. Let’s see how this goes lol

  14. yesterdays game was alright, i just want to see more of undav and beier

and whats up with neuer, he has made multiple seasons worth of mistakes (by his standards) in a few weeks now

  15. Question: if board has decided to spend more than a 100 million on each of these two candidates this summer whom would you choose?
Candidates : wirtz and joao neves

  16. Guys, Xavi Simons is a fantastic player but we already have many ball to feet players (Musiala, Sane, Zaragoza)

We desperately need an outlet for those UCL nights besides Mathys Tel

Imagine if we had someone with Adeyemi’s pace on the counter attack against Real Madrid-We’d have made it to the final

If we don’t sign someone with that profile then we MUST integrate Irankunda in the first team as he can be that guy (and a better finisher than Adeyemi).

That’s why signing Gruda AND a Left Winger is very important

    My picks would be:

    Rafael Leão (dream)
    Nico Williams (too much competition)
Rashford (game breaking qualities similar to Leão)
Wesley Gassova (currently a LW, ceiling is as a CF, as much potential as Endrick, labeled the Brazilian Mbappe for a reason)
