Footage appears to show the first known use of US-supplied HIMARS missiles by Ukraine hitting a key military target inside Russia.

An S-300 or S-400 air defence system – which has been used to pound Kharkiv where Vladimir Putin’s forces have struck multiple civilian targets – was destroyed.

This follows Joe Biden giving limited permission for the use of American missiles by Kyiv on targets inside Russian territory in a bid to stem the debilitating strikes on Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second city.

    This HIMARS is a 30+ years missile and is doing a lot of damage to the former second-best military in the world(Russia).
    One will just wonder what recent and more lethal technology the United States have in store.
    Imagine if Ukraine hadn't been restricted in these 2+ years of the war, Russia could have felt the heat from Western weapons and maybe forced Putin to rethink his decision in Ukraine going forward.

    There, I've corrected your video title for you. Shoddy and sensationalist journalism is what escalates situations, the missiles are Ukrainian now, provided to them by America (albeit with some caveats), the same way that the Russians are indiscriminately using Chinese and Iranian provided munitions against UKR (without any caveats whatsoever), but of course it's not as sensational to say 'Ukraine being pounded by Chinese missiles' is it?

  14. The only thing more stupid than the West discussing how weapons supplied to Ukraine to defend itself are most effectively employed, is the assertion by Russia that this represents a form of escalation. Don't want HIMARS hitting your soldiers on Russian soil? Get the eff out of Ukraine!
