  4. Man. This is bullshit. “Some of his statements looked like”. It looks like he just made an assumption out of words from a press conference. He could have just had a private conversation and sorted it out. Xavi mentioned facts in his interview and he was setting expectations low to reduce pressure on him and the team.

    It is pretty obvious that the financial situation changed with probably the Nike deal and we were able to afford Flick.

  13. Man, everything else feels moot to me because regardless of all the normal Barca drama, the one thing I could not stand was the feeling that the team was not physically and mentally strong for today’s ball game. And Xavi gave 0 hints it was going to address that huge elephant in the room.

    I would love for him to come back in 10 years, but right now the team felt stuck and I am glad a change is been attempted.

    And this team if anything is under performing. I believe this team have players to win it all or always be close, and I will die on that hill. Yeah we don’t have a superstar but we have a group of great players. Just underperforming as a team.
