Wow… Nothing looks changed but everything else did.
Gampert 💪
It always is interesting to me that Germans really have a lot of streets they restored nearly 1:1 from those times. In Wolfsburg there is a section which looks and feels like early 20th century.
Amazingly well lined up, but then again it is Germany.
The burning building in the middle, was it rebuilt or was it replaced by something else? Looks like a beautiful wood frame building.
You can barely see the now. But interesting photo !!
This is why I freaking love European countries they’re so beautiful u connect with them

Well done. Take your karma
Stillstand. That’s unfortunately why there are still so many irresponsibly energy-inefficient buildigns causing our great dependency on Russian gas.
Wow! I can’t believe Germany used to be black and white in the 40’s.
Things used to be so much more based 🙁
M4 Sherman right?
My god, I 5hink you actually lined it up, most got it close
I kinda thought the tank is a Tiger when I saw the thumbnail. Friendly fire anyone?
Looks like the street still shows some sinking where the tanks drove lol
Very nice. Most of these don’t match up. Most of these could match up with just a little work. This is fantastic.
put it on r/pics
A Gampert is nia schlamberd
Move the photo so we can see the nice street.
This makes me hear Medal of honour, allied assault sounds in my head. Am I schizofrenic?
Where is the now picture?
That pic looks like a video game title screen.
I drove past there in War Thunder
Props to Kronach for moving tanks out of the city center and replacing them with walkable infrastructure. r/fucktanks
Tank driver “wtf ,Where the hell did that thumb come from?”.
And why bring up the US?
Thanks for not showing too much of present day Kronach, as it would be way too depressing. Even the little glimpse at the corners almost makes me reach for the razorblades.
I love pictures like this.
edit: ones where you can hold up a older pic to the current place.. not necessarily pictures of Europe with tanks rolling the streets.
Peace ☮️ is so beautiful and better than our squabbling leaders pathetically threatening to kill their own young people. Peace love and soul music
Taaaaaank onnnn meeeeeEEE

Dude, the alignment is instantly marvous.
That photo that OP uploaded is something I could hang on my own walls, really cool

Nice little town.
Look at those windows on the upper right of the old photo! And here I’ve been bitching about new replacement windows that look exactly like that.

Super cool. I think this is my favorite of all of this type of then/now photos.
I don’t know why but it makes me feel wierd that the only thing to change is the tank and fire.
Plot twist : He is covering the fact that behind the Picture, the Building is indeed still burning.
Looked better
Boom baby
