Oh it’s a carry on alright.
Not caught up with all that’s going on but has anyone explained to him what a no confidence vote means?
Yet Labour demanded for Yousaf to step down when he failed VONC.
Losing*
Anyone who has ever worked with the guy will not be surprised by his response. Starmer needs to step in or there will be resignations from Cabinet over the summer
Extremely democratic /s
Starmer supports Gething. If Vaughan doesn’t resign, this could potentially damage Labours chances of getting into Westminster.
What a joke
He just doesn’t get it does he. Nobody has any confidence in you = you step down. The Tories will leap on this in the general election.
This is Gething ridiculous now
What an arse. Unfortunately this won’t impact him or Labour in Wales at all.
Geth OUT!! The arrogance of the man.
Something I’m struck by is how few people I seem to meet out and about that are even aware this is a thing. Even this evening it isn’t the main story on the BBC news website, for example.
Labour have obviously decided that this is a story that will get drowned out by the wider election coverage, and then when the likely Labour gains in Wales come in on 4th July they’ll say the electorate have given him the thumbs up.
Personally, I think that’s dodgy as hell, but I also think that they might be able to get away with it if people aren’t paying attention.
This is the single most disgraceful chain of events that’s occurred in devolved politics, after the events that lead to the death of Carl Sergeant, and the fall of Carwyn Jones.
