Wasn’t there at least 2 others? Texas and somewhere in Asia?
Who comes out with vaccine first
Oops, we’ve been out of our houses too long.
Can someone make a hobbit meme (the scene with the 2nd breakfast) where one does say what about a 2nd pandemic?
“The victim had no history of exposure to poultry or other animals, WHO said.”
Oh shit. This guy had been bedridden for weeks. If this is human to human transmission, we may be in a world of trouble.
Just in time for the elections!!
If this spreads I’m sure all the anti-vaxxers will do their best to make it worse.
“Si, bird flew”
I don’t want bird flu
I have a question for the Reddit experts:
What are the risks?
Good news is that masks and social distancing work way better against flu than Covid. We actually eliminated a strain of flu in 2020-21 because very very few people got the flu.
Isn’t it showing up in waste water testing?
Good thing I don’t take medical advice from rock bands.
“ There are no specific vaccines for preventing influenza A(H5) virus infection in humans. Candidate vaccines to prevent A(H5) infection in humans have been developed for pandemic preparedness purposes”

Mother nature really said “COVID wasn’t enough, I gotta up my game”.
Oh, great, I’ve already had my vacation this year. I’ve also got toilet butt spray, so I don’t need TP. I’m ready for the lockdowns.
If this becomes another pandemic, people are truly on their own. The world has zero appetite for any sort of lockdown etc. World governments regardless of political affiliation pretty much showed us that they are completely inept in managing an actual crisis.
Motherfucker if I have to go and live through another pandemic I’m gonna riot
Republicans rush legislation through blocking further research and safety precautions
This article has a lot more info:

New Zealand about to nip this one in the bud again.
I bought a few boxes of n95 masks after they’d become widely available again. The box I bought during the swine flu and had been collecting dust got me through the period between when covid started and the vaccine became available. Covid showed the general population cannot be relied upon to do what is necessary to protect public health, so I am prepared to protect myself.
We are all going to have to be vegans. Bird flu is in meat, eggs and dairy products.
> The victim had no history of exposure to poultry or other animals, WHO said. Cases of A(H5N2) subtype of the bird flu have been reported in poultry in Mexico.
I don’t love that part.
NOT AGAIN 😭
But “i dOnT WeAr a mAsK” – some MAGA fool probably
Oh fuggg here we go
Not this shit again
This is the actual report: https://www.who.int/emergencies/disease-outbreak-news/item/2024-DON520
It’s a short read; please encourage friends and loved-ones to do 20 minutes of critical-thought research before “feeling” what their truth is.
We’ll be okay if we don’t defer to the lowest common denominator… again.
“The victim had no history of exposure to poultry or other animals”
Always scares the shit out of me with these cases.
Start buying stock in Pfizer
At least I still have chicken.

>The victim had no history of exposure to poultry or animals
really sounds like we are entering another pandemic
We’ve had one, yes, but what about second pandemic?
I’m going to self delete if we go through another pandemic. I can’t do this again.
what does bird law have to say about this?
