Just punt the bastard.
I’ve seen videos of cats chasing off alligators and bears, but they aren’t stupid enough to mess with a seagull. Unless the cat is friends with a honey badger or has the phone number of some murder hornets, I think it’s going hungry.

Imagine being the size of a cat and you’ve never seen a seagull before, it’s freaking huge and can fly, has a savage beak, so I don’t blame the cat for nopeing out.
