  4. An evacuation dressed up as a power move. I have to respect Russia’s ability to spin things. Even still, the US can cut that navy to pieces. There is nowhere to hide in the Caribbean

  5. Can’t stay afloat two hours from home, in port or in dry dock. No one takes Kremlin naval “threats” seriously. They’re all potential artificial reefs.

    Better saving their time, money and resources and stick to toy boats in a bathtub.

  10. The way things have been for the Russian Navy in recent years, it’s amazing they have more than a couple of rowboats to deploy.

  11. Sweet within combat radius of all our aircraft, that’s smart posturing. Like there won’t be any submarines following you, enjoy your drills just don’t piss off the sport fishermen, they might be armed.

  14. Ukraine should sink them anyways, if they can fight Russia in Syria why not the Caribbean? That would be one hell of a power move 😋

  27. I’m conflicted..My first thought was this is like a Tom Clancy movie, my second is: it is the start of Hurricane season, so by Russian logic this makes total sense.

  32. Why doesn’t US establish friendly relations with Cuba like they have with other totalitarian nations. It’s ridiculous to leave this opportunity to Russia. Cuba is no Iran or Syria.

  34. There’s no such thing as russian navy anymore. Everyone knows their weakness so they became obsolete.
