nice to see they have some ew but looks like they need more

Lancet range is up to 40km, so either Russia has doubled the range or they have SOF operating them behind Ukraine’s lines.
The up and down buffeting you see here is due to the over speed as the drone dives from a high angle to try and avoid defences and the control surfaces either flutter or over correct. EW probably also had a role to play, but operator input is minimal with Lancets as one acquired, the drone uses image recognition to stay on target on terminal approach.
However, the electronics it’s built on are largely commercial and from China, which are far more susceptible to EW interference than Western military drones, which use heavily shielded, military grade components, tested in high EW environments.
Damage from that altitude may appear minimal, but that aircraft is out of action, with likely significant damage to the radar array and cockpit avionics sadly.
Take that, ukrainian concrete! /s
It wasnt even hit the plane.
The quality is so poor that it might as well be a decent decoy. Won’t be the first time Russians have posted destroyed decoy planes as actual success.

Why would a jet be that close to the frontline? Cant they park them further away?
I thought the remaining planes UA has are in concrete hangars?
Unfortunately the strike is close to the aircraft and it is probably not safe to fly anymore without extensive checks
EW might be affecting the camera signal but the flight profile looks consistent with a few other videos and it seems Lancets have tendency overcorrect and that’s what we are seeing here. (up and down camera motion)
If the flight time (to target) was a bit longer i bet the frequency of those oscillations would increase and make it crash or miss even more.
In 2 years, they could have build drone resistant hangers.
The good thing about the pixalted video, unlike the last the time we can not see if it was a decoy again. Well done.
