  1. Brewdog management being utter scumbags….tell me it isn’t so!

Few companies I can think of whose management provide such consistent negative press – its like they go out of their way to be assholes. (interview ‘work’, bar staff treatment, naming trademark bullshit, ‘golden can’ competitions, breaking US import regs, terrible workplace)

    ‘Punk’…my arse they are.

  2. Once met the guy who owns Brewdog, at a wanky marketing conference, pre pandemic. Can confirm – the guy is a cunt.

  3. they seem to be adopting the ‘Ryan Air’ technique of ‘free publicity’ for bad behaviour. With what I’ve heard, I just won’t buy any if I can avoid doing so.

  4. The guy is an absolute roaster, comes across as such in every interview I’ve ever seen. Seems to be completely up his own rear end, and certainly from a few folk I have previously worked with that used to work there, the place was a bit of a shambles.

  5. I thought it was common knowledge they’re a trash company.

Remember the “job interviews” they did that was actually all about generating some new ideas for the company?

I won’t drink their product as a result.

  6. Thing is, with all the bad press, there will be people out there laughing at this, thinking it’s funny and purposely going out to buy their beer because of it.

  7. Used to really like BrewDog beers but they all seem to have taken a nosedive in the last 12/18 months. Compared to what other brands you can get from supermarkets, like Beavertown or Siren, they’re now pretty average.

  8. Casual reminder that if you stop buying BrewDog buy local if you can, not from one of their competitors.

Camden Brewery is owned by AB InBev who have previously been fined for breaking competition rules, tax evasion and price fixing.

Beavertown is owned by Heineken who have been fined for trying to prevent publicans from selling competitor brands and had to pull racist adverts.

A large majority of craft brewers in the supermarkets are sadly owned by knobheads.

  9. I made the mistake of having shares in them. Let them crash and burn. How they’ve treated staff is horrible.

  10. BrewDog would not know punk if it painted itself purple and danced naked in front of them. They are the embodiment of the sorts of companies punk rails against and they know it themselves, they just seem to want to make it so their customers are oblivious to it.

  11. I used to love brewdog but over the years they’ve just turned to pure shite. Elvis juice was my fave but even that turned to shite.

  12. Don’t brewdog make good beer and sticking it up to big beer houses because they are craft beers? They are hip and happy,

  13. I heard they’ve been awful to work with, people say they take forever to pay suppliers, if they do. Unsure how true it is but that’s what people say.
