  1. >Sunrise is, to reiterate, *already planning voter mobilization efforts aimed at defeating Trump.* Opting to endorse Biden—especially now—wouldn’t benefit Sunrise, and would carry relatively few upsides for the candidate himself.

I’m also aware, that the excuse for the abortion bans are that trump placed certain judges in place. So, wasn’t Biden able to replace those judges with more human rights friendly ones?

Asking as a non American watching from afar. Like, seriously, if Trump could do it, why didn’t Biden did it also to protect human/women’s rights?

One American on another sub explained it to me this way:

“Republicans think, women are personal property, democrats think, women are public property.”

  3. The American people really should be the ones voting for judge appointments especially if they are lifetime seats. Too easy for a president to politicize the court and take away the focus from the public welfare.

  4. Politicians like Biden will only use an endorsement against pressure from climate activists. The only reason establishment Democrats move on climate policy is because orgs like Sunrise are willing to make a fool of them like they did to Diane Feinstein.
