  1. His wife is sticking by his side, he’s well connected in the UFC scene is all I’ll say.

  2. There were some pretty vile tweets of his going around when he was first arrested. Obviously his account has since been taken down, I can only find them on the daily mail now.

Seems like a real nasty piece of work.

  3. Booked an earlier flight home then if I recall correctly didn’t he? Totally the actions of an innocent man.

  4. Interesting to hear he’s going with the “I didn’t even touch her” defense. Thank god for DNA evidence.

  5. Surely DNA is all they will need to convict? It should be an open and shut case. Or is there something I’m missing

  6. I read in one article that the woman went to the police after leaving the hotel, so they must’ve done a rape kit.

  7. Live in the Greater Boston area and this is popping up every so often on the news (though everyone is glued to another local trial at the moment). From reading this article and the Boston Globe coverage, isn’t there a pretty obvious discrepancy in timelines? He says he was only in the room a few minutes and she left. She says it was more than half an hour and that she immediately texted her friend when she left the room. Between her phone data, his key card swiping the door (the Omni Parker is an old hotel but I would be shocked if they didn’t have key cards) and likely footage from the hotel, there should be lots of data to prove the timelines one way or another.
