He’s a great President for the times. He leads Ukraine well!
Brought tears tears to my eyes. We should give everything Ukraine needs and let them use them to win this war and push Russia back where they belong! They truly are the greatest generation!
Meanwhile, Republicans are calling him, corrupt and blaming him for the fighting going on
Zelenskyy is one of the greatest and most inspirational figures of this century! The fact that he didn’t flee the country and went to the front with his fellow countrymen and women is inspirational. Ukraine couldn’t have asked for a better leader!
Only my opinion, but I think Zelensky has done a better job in his most trying time than other world leaders have combined in their best times.
Can’t Help to want to Ask… considering previous WWII Vet support to UKR and Zelensky… which end of the beach veterans are we talking about here?
My dad was at D Day and that man is not wrong.

I’ll take the remaining D-Day survivors’ word on this as basically gospel. At the very least, they’ve earned that.
These men went through a lot in order to stand against authoritarianism. I regret that they’ve had to see yet another despot rear his ugly head and throw away so much human life in a vain attempt at conquest. We learned 80 years ago that appeasement will not stop such tyranny. Ukraine’s leadership and people have shown incredible resolve in the face of terror.
May Ukraine be free this day and forever more!
lmfao
And there are obvious parallels between Hitler’s invasion of Czechoslovakia and Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. But hopefully that’s where he is stopped.

Zelenskyy stepped TF up.
He wasn’t doing all that well before the invasion happened as a politician.
Middle of the road, various allegations about some shady things and corruption. Particularly his connection to Igor Kolomoisky, replacing his young liberal cabinet with old politicians, some of those who he vowed to fight, and being forced to make deals and concessions with the very people he ran on a platform of bringing down.
He was elected on a platform of cleaning up corruption, and was struggling with it with his popularity tanking hard as a result. Covid didn’t help any.
Then shit really hit the fan and he manned up. He even went as far as to make wartime corruption a treason charge.
I have nothing but respect for him. Whatever his faults were before the invasion, he became exactly what he needed to be when it was needed.
BBBBBB will be calling these guys traitors next week.
Being roughly the same age as Zelenskyy, I simply cannot fathom the level of responsibility this man’s shoulders must bear.
I have no problem using the word Hero to describe either of these two gentlemen. And my children shall know them the same.
It was such a pleasure to live during his presidency when I lived in Kyiv. “The fight is here. I need ammunition, not a ride.”
Yeah, that’s not a creepy thing that only far right wingers say about the worst leaders in history.
