I’m sure the comments for this article will be very reasoned and intelligent, and we will all be proud several hours from now to see there were absolutely no stereotypes or fallacious arguments, and this thread is totally free from ISIS and/or Hitler references or allusions.
Good. This should be the way (typed this with my shiny 20.000 francs Rolex GMT Master-II BLRO on my left wrist)
Question: why does a greater percentage of this group need benefits, than those of EU, EFTA, or Swiss origin?

Unequal representation, but equal taxation?
I guess that’s one way to make society less fair.
Very good initiative.
I frequently think that out of all Western countries Switzerland is the only one that has retained its sanity
I did not realize that 8.8% of this group was on welfare. Having seen how tough it was to claim welfare for a family member in a legit case, and only for a couple of years over a 40 years career, I wonder how they do.
Good move, this is meant to scary illegals away from Switzerland. Mostly Africans and Arabs. But hey, Germany is just across the fence, so welcome refugees.
The one question would be how would they assess whether the integration of family members is successful – employment is a separate factor, so is it simply helping them to learn French and/or German?
