71% of voters believe Boris Johnson will not be Prime Minister by the next General Election

  1. I expect the Tory PR team would go into overdrive and help drum up support for the Tories by making Labour out to be baby-eaters or something ridiculous to make it out as if the Tories are the only sane choice for the country. There are more than enough people who believed in chaos under Miliband and Corbyn, they will feel the same about Starmer when told to do so by the media over several years.

  2. Twice the article mentions “almost 3 quarters”. Do they think the average reader is unfamiliar with what 71% represents? Is “7 out of 10” too tricky? It’s a rounding error away from being just as close to 2 thirds, but the media must always fluff up a headline.

(This is coming from someone who completely agrees with the 71% sampled I must add).

  3. The odds on Betfair are currently suggesting a 68% chance he’s gone this year and an 82% chance he’s gone by the end of 2023.

If you’re part of the chunk of people who think he’ll carry on being Prime Minister until the next General Election, you can quintuple your money if you’re right!
