8. Hey, the old guy gets it. Zelinsky is one of them. He is like them. Separated by 80 years and half a continent, but Zelinsky understands war and death. He sees it all day every day. And the old vet sees Zelinsky as a guy like himself. Standing up to naked aggression and tyrriny, cluster munitions, white phosphorus rounds, assasination attempts, sketchy weapons donors, very brave soldiers who are tired and broken and still answering the call. The old vet gets it.
