one shell is 5k, so around 40k shells. That’s “powerful”
Every bit of aid to Ukraine is another nail in putin’s coffin.
The contents of the package were officially published on the website of the US Department of Defense:
Missiles for HAWK air defense systems;
Stinger anti-aircraft missiles;
Ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS);
155mm Howitzers;
155mm and 105mm artillery rounds;
81mm mortar systems;
M113 Armored Personnel Carriers;
Trailers to transport heavy equipment;
Coastal and riverine patrol boats;
Tube-Launched, Optically-Tracked, Wire-Guided (TOW) missiles;
Javelin and AT-4 anti-armor systems;
Small arms ammunition and grenades;
Demolitions munitions;
Night vision devices; and
Spare parts, maintenance, and other ancillary equipment.
Looking at the list of stuff delivered and it only being $225 million surely some of it must be in embarassingly low numbers?? How does the math add up on this? This almost has to be under 10 000 artillery shells.
Here we go. With the state of Ruzzian military I’m beginning to think that just doubling down on what we are doing may be enough to push these a-holes out of Ukraine. What military can handle daily casualty rates of 1200 infantry, 40 APCs and 20 tanks? This while the national income stream has been cut off and financial collapse is ever more likely? The deal of a century right here
And Trump will take it all away. How are my Ukrainian friends feeling about November?
