Very Happy for my country’s rebounding, since I am planning on moving there soon. so hopefully the economy keeps growing
At least one good news this week.
Very good.
Polandball stronk
Economy grows but not real salaries.
This is only good for the government, which is handing out pathetic welfare allowances equal to € 100.
Meanwhile, the cost of living in Poland is already 80% comparable to that in the West. A worker in Germany earning the German minimum wage will buy 2x more bread or fuel than a Polish worker earning the minimum wage in Poland.
My cousin, who lives in Szczecin, does his grocery shopping in Germany.
Polish salaries have the 4th lowest purchasing power in the EU.
The Polish zloty is one of the weakest currencies in the world.
Growth in Poland is mainly based on internal consumption. There has been a collapse in investment. Development in new technologies is non-existent. The Polish economy is stagnating.
No wonder I have spent a lot of money last year in Poland, because everything is cheaper due to exchange rate pln/eur
The Polish people see tangible results from their hard work, so theres a very motivated workforce behind these economic growth numbers. Fuck you Soviet Russia for curtailing this country for 50 fucking miserable years, were it not for that Poland would be a very wealthy nation today. It’s inevitable it’s going to be very wealthy, but it could’ve been there sooner.
