Since we’re posting internet speeds, here’s what you have to pay for 40Gb/s fiber in Finland

  1. If you really need 40Gb/s, you also need fast enough infrastructure on your end to saturate this kind of connection. And if you are ready to pay for that kind of high-end network equipment, then 800 Euro/month is really peanuts.

  2. Who tf would need 40gb/s, like i have 200mb/s and that’s *way* more than i need.

  3. I doubt you could ever get this at home, the limit for FTTH is 10 Gbps or normal routers and switches. This is either for a housing company (multiple aggregated links) or a company. This price is reasonable and probably will be deducted as cost.

As a note: I bet the offer also comes with a short SLA for issue resolution and measurements for downtime, and also a minimal speed, unlike your regular home connection.
