Supply and demand, that’s all CEX do. Someone will pay that for it.
There’s a bunch on Adverts for similar money.
Between 1200 & 1500.
Fingers crossed my 1070 dosnt die any time soon!
Crypto wankers. Really hope crypto comes crashing down soon. Absolute scorebags the lot of them
better than ebay atm
Lol this is the cheapest I’ve seen one so far
That’s about right unfortunately.
That’s not even that outrageous in the current times unfortunately
I just gave up on sourcing a 3000 series and bought a PS5. My PC build is basically a glorified workstation now.
the 20 series of cards will last another 5-10 years (Results may vary) so don’t spend what you could nearly spend on a full rig on just a card that is severely overpriced
It’s only €1,450 is someone is stupid enough to pay it. Up until then it’s just an asking price.
ehh, these are obscenely expensive everywhere – that’s actually the going rate – as wrong as that is
If you buy from CEX you deserve to be robbed.
Actually seems a bit reasonable for a 3080 all things considered
Speaking of… anyone manage to get a 3050 today? I know they don’t come close to a 3080 but i’m desperate
For 50 euro more you could buy my car, crazy 😂😂
Whoever buys it I hope they play crysis at full spec…….but in reality they will probably just play some RTS game from 2005 😂
Imagine being dumb enough to buy almost double msrp
And they will buy it back for 700€.
Their settings are at epic and mine’s just on fucking ultra.
all because crypto ;(
£1179 new is the best price. They should be cheaper but €1200 would be a bargain.
I just got a gaming laptop with a 3060 in it for €1100. Including an i7 processor and 1tb SSD
Supply and demand. Someone will pay it around that anyway for it. Why sell an asset for less than it’s perceived value
let me know where it’s available for MRSP.
Wonder how much the seller got 🧐
Oh sure don’t I and my GT710 know it, it’s shocking!
Blame the other people behind it, it’s not their fault people are willing to pay that because they can’t get one at RRP.
Due to the semi-conductor shortage? Kinda amazing how incredibly vulnerable we are to a supply shock like this, esp. if China makes a move on Taiwan.
I bought a second hand pc with 1660 in 2020 in June for €550 now the card is worth that.
I bought mine for 900 euro exactly a year ago and thought it was a steal. I wonder how much I can get for my 970 there.
That is about the going rate of a new card to be fair…. god knows if it was killed thru crypto tho….
They’re great for the older consoles but the latest ones they’re scabby shitehawks, they’ve got 5-6 PS5s unboxed for almost €800 each in the one in my town
Genuine noob question here – why is this great and why are some people here considering paying it?
I’ve always been a console gamer and I know PCs are great and all…but what justifies the huge price jump for a good gaming PC Vs the new gen consoles?
Not trying to say one is better than the other btw. Just genuinely curious
I have a Radeon Vii and I have been tempted to sell it cause it goes for a LOT but I then realise I then cant buy another card!
Can I just ask, what is the best way to even try to get your hands on GPU in Ireland. I am aware there is slim to non chance and inflated prices but wondering where to even begin looking.
CEX sells second-hand Switch games for more than retail price.
Sold my old RTX 2080 Ti to them the other day and saw exactly the card I gave them on sale for €1155… Shocking
It’s better that what people are charging on adverts.
This seems to be the going rate if you check online.
