Putin Accidently Slips: REAL Russian Casualty Numbers!

did Vladimir Putin just inadvertently reveal the real casualty numbers for the Russian military and is this number sufficient to grind out the Russians in Ukraine I’m Paul US Army Combat veteran let’s talk about it so this was buried in like the third paragraph of the institute for the study of Wars uh daily update but I thought it was really significant because Putin revealed on June 5th at a conference in St Petersburg somewhat inadvertently that Russian military personnel are killed at about a rate of 5,000 a month which if you maintain this War’s three casualties are serious wounded for every one Kia that puts about 15,000 seriously wounded Russian Personnel for a total monthly loss rate of 20,000 troops every single month which is preposterous and what’s fascinating about this is that the Russian mod officially has only acknowledged about five between five and 10,000 casualties UHA Russian soldiers Kia so this is absolutely absurd to be like the real number is something on the magnitude of 10 times as high as Russian the official Russian numbers uh up until this point now Putin I was able to find only one video of him actually spilling the bean so to speak and it’s reposted by the sun us and you can see he is kind of oblique I think there’s some issues with the translation sanitary Lawes two three six uh wounded people and the enemy losses tens of uh people so you see he kind of reveals there a uh I think he’s revealing a daily rate of Russian forces killed to estimates of Ukrainian forces killed and we know he’s trying to make the point to his people that while they’re taking a lot of casualties the ukrainians are taking a lot more I don’t think that’s true um the Ukrainian estimates right are uh that actually the Russian forces are taking a lot more casualties and what’s interesting though is that again if you extrapolate from this daily rate you get the real 5,000 a month of Russian Personnel killed in action and when you look at the casualty numbers you can see that the Ukrainian forces estimate is a bit higher than this but in the in the right ballpark um but who is spoton is actually the uh us estimate right they estimate over the course of the war about 350,000 killed and wounded uh which of course if you assume uh if you look at the fact the war’s gone on for oh this is 24 25 months based on this estimate number right 350,000 divided by 25 actually gives us a a slightly lower number but right in the correct ballpark about 14,000 total casualties a month over the course of the conflict right and that’s from February to March uh so the us estimate appears to have actually been spoton you can see here the uh French estimate a bit higher um the UK’s estimate just about there as well so all of this and actually these are probably correct because we know the us estimate ending in March whereas uh the French and UK estimate including uh March April and May in some cases uh which may 2024 you know Battle of AD Diva proved to be one of the highest casualty rates for Russian forces um when you add in uh the PMC forces Vagner you realize that actually this is it pretty much confirms the US intelligence estimate of total casualties uh in this conflict really interesting again because let’s see if I can pull it up here officially Russia has only acknowledged about I think less than 10,000 casualties right uh and this entire operation and some of that is Russia talking it book so to speak ensuring that the mod one they get to downplay the the official casualty rate to the Russian public they don’t have to pay benefits to soldiers who were never in Ukraine or people like storm Z units or Vagner PMC troops who were never soldiers right uh that’s the problem right they have to pay out benefits if you’re a soldier killed in a war if you were never a soldier you were never killed you’re just Mia or you were never in Ukraine Russia doesn’t have to pay you uh it’s a fun little game except for the families of those who are killed um right but again it it’s just Peak Russian Behavior but here’s the problem and we’re going to talk for a second about what the big problem is but if you’re looking to up your description okay let’s talk about the number one issue with these casualty numbers first you could see that Russia has a lot of military AED men 21 million potential military age men uh fit for service right and so at a burn rate of you know 20,000 a month right if you have 21 million now remember Putin is not instituted a draft here that’s the key but you should understand that replacing 20,000 month right you’re looking at 10 years of forces he can throw into Ukraine which is you know or or a thousand months no I’m sorry that’s a hundred years I can do math uh right so yeah 87 years so that’s a lot of military age Personnel so Russia has a deep we but you know that Putin has been unwilling to Institute a general conscription but you can imagine that if even they can recruit volunteers among 1% of the military age population a month it still is a massive massive number right in contrast Ukraine is here with just 7 million military AG men so Ukraine outnumbered by a rate of about 3 to1 in terms of the military age population now Ukraine does have a draft but when you’re talking about going Toe totoe with Russia you see kind of inherently the problem Russia can just get a lot of human beings uh now Russia has a falling birth rate one of the lowest in the entire world uh but it so there’s really just one generation and frankly every military age male that Putin gets killed in his sort of folly war is really does long long term damage to the Russian economy and State uh but Putin doesn’t really care about that however what I think is more important the most important number in fact is the estimates of what Russian forces are capable of generating and by most estimates Russia can put into the field about 25 to 30,000 troops a month right and that’s the problem reportedly it brought in 30,000 a month uh January and another 30,000 in April um so this means that the Russian military is continuing to grow and expand now the catch is that a lot of these troops are extremely lowquality troops right these are they have limited training they have poor gear um but quantity as they say has a quality all its own and if you can bring in 30,000 new Personnel each month then you’re going to be able to offset a lot of those losses and remember a lot of these new Personnel are some of them are uh like convicts who are offered uh military service uh to expunge a conviction but a lot more are actually Russians uh who are conscripted complete their mandatory military service and then are strongly encouraged by the government to sign on as contract so soldiers in Ukraine um they also you know uh Russia draws in foreign fighters from places like Nepal or Bangladesh or Somalia um or AF or subsaharan Africa uh those forces make up a non-trivial portion of the Russian military we’re seeing more and more of them brought in and even if they bring in just a thousand a month that represents again uh what’s 3% of their total uh recruitment efforts so this is a Russia has the ability to generate a lot more Personnel um even as they take these preposterously high casualties numbers and it’s one of the reasons why Ukraine is pivoted and focused on uh a a attrition first strategy you can see here the only real change to the front line has been Russian forces occupying the town of Ivanka uh but again they controlled most of the town already Russian Ukrainian forces is just withdrawing here again baiting the to come out of their entrenched positions and try to advance and again they’re incurring a lot of casualties but are they incurring   4. Your (and the West in general) ability to extrapolate from Putin's words is extremely creative and preposterous.
    No wonder Ukraine is getting crushed.

    In that video clip Putin states "2,3, 6" Russian wounded per day.
    That comes to a. Max of 186 per month (6 x 31) and not the "Spot on" US number of 15000 per month you claim.

    Russia has continously had 5 to 10 times (According to the Institute for th Study of War) the Artillery., including Missiles, Rockets and Drones.

    Russia has also had a consistently growing ability to drpp huge guide FAB Bombs, that Ukraine has no equivalent for..

    How can Ukraine compete with that?

    144 million people overall.

    16% over 65.
    27% 45-64.
    40% 18-44.
    The rest kids.

    If you count the young people who left before the war started and the constant casualties either K.I.A or injured a lot have problems.
    Now the Russians have stripped the countryside and various ethnicities for the war but left a lot RUSSIANS in St Petersburg/Moscow alone for political reasons.
    This is gonna end badly for the Russian people and economy, this is why Putin needs Ukrainian areas, give the people Russian passports then they can be used as conscripts.
    The economy turning into a war economy…fighting not trading Russia will be significantly weakened, if it wasn't for its gold reserves and gas/oil???

You took the road leading towards the Bachmut area – (back when they still had artillery-superiority ….at least in numbers) – you could smell the stench of (u kno what) from 10kms away (IN WINTER – when the ground was FROZEN!). IMAGINE IT IN SPRING/SUMMER – when the icy, hard "snow&mud"-pack starts to MELT! You didn't need pointers to know where they were…besides! …the UAF tries everything possible to recover not just the wounded, but even their KIA's, too . Russians DO NOT CARE FOR THEIR SOLDIERS, WHEN THEY'RE ALIVE – once they become "casualties" it's like they're counting SPENT AMMO – no more, no less. Freaking PSYCHOS!

  16. I guess the key is 'acceptable' losses. There will be a limit to what the Russian public will deem as an acceptable cost to this war. Although they are undoubtedly being lied to about the actual scale of losses, sooner or later they will question why so many sons, fathers, and brothers are not coming home from the SMO. As time goes by, they will grow weary of this war and Ukraine will become Russia's Vietnam.

Ukraine nor nato had no plans to expand into Russia, so he made it up calling Ukraine a nazi run County, and it would be taken in 3 days, well he expanded nato " thanks" and nearly 3 years later and thousands of lives lost Ukraine are still holding their own.   35. The Russians will run out of armoured vehicles and money before they run out of men.

    Once the russians start struggling to provide IFV to move their troops into attack their casulty numbers per day will go even higher and there will come a point when the russian people will start to turn against the war.

    This isn't world war two the Russians are an invading force so at some point russian mothers will have to decide how many of their sons is Ukraine worth

    Russian Defence Ministry report on the progress of the special military operation (1–7 June 2024)

    From 1 to 7 June 2024, in response to the Kiev regime's attempts to hit Russian power facilities, the Russian Armed Forces carried out 27 group strikes by ground-, air-, and sea-based precision weapons, as well as strike drones, during which the Russian Armed Forces engaged power facilities that supported the work of enterprises of the Ukrainian military industrial enterprises.

    In addition, the strikes hit depots of Western weapons and ammunition, missile and artillery equipment, uncrewed vessels, temporary deployment areas of AFU troops and mercenaries. The goal of the strikes have been achieved. All the assigned targets have been engaged.

    The Sever Group of Forces continued advancing to the depths of the enemy's defence and inflicted damage on manpower and hardware of seven formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as on one marine brigade, as well as on the two territorial defence brigades. Thirty-six counter-attacks of AFU assault groups were repelled during the week.

    The enemy losses were up to 1,400 troops, five tanks, 11 armoured fighting vehicles, including one Stryker armoured personnel carrier, and two U.S.-made M113 armoured personnel carriers, 32 motor vehicles, as well as 26 field artillery guns.

    The Zapad Group of Forces has taken more advantageous lines over the past week. Strikes were delivered at units of the four mechanised, one tank, and one airmobile brigades of the AFU, two territorial defence brigades, and two Ukrainian National Guard brigades.

    Eleven counter-attacks launched by AFU units were repelled. The AFU losses amounted to up to 2,850 Ukrainian troops, two tanks, 19 armoured fighting vehicles, 34 motor vehicles, and 25 field artillery guns.

    Over the past week, the Yug Group of Forces has improved the situation along the front line, liberated Paraskoviyevka (Donetsk People's Republic), and hit manpower and hardware of 14 AFU formations.

    The enemy suffered losses of up to 2,835 Ukrainian troops, 14 armoured fighting vehicles, 29 motor vehicles, 35 field artillery guns, including 13 Western-made guns, as well as one Gepard anti-aircraft self-propelled artillery system. Seven AFU ammunition depots have been eliminated.

    During the week, the Tsentr Group of Forces carried on advancing into the depths of the enemy's defence and liberated Umanskoye (Donetsk People's Republic).

    Strikes were delivered at nine AFU and Ukrainian National Guard units, and 39 counter-attacks of the enemy were repelled.

    Over the past week, the enemy has suffered losses of up to 2,690 troops, two U.S.-made Abrams tanks, 14 armoured fighting vehicles, to include two U.S.-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, 21 motor vehicles, 62 field artillery guns, as well as one HIMARS MLRS combat vehicle.

    The Vostok Group of Forces has improved the tactical situation and inflicted losses on the manpower and hardware of the two brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the two territorial defence brigades.

    The AFU losses amounted to up to 935 Ukrainian troops, two tanks, seven armoured fighting vehicles, 37 motor vehicles, and ten field artillery guns.

    The Dnepr Group of Forces has inflicted fire damage on manpower and hardware of three marine brigades, one mechanised, one infantry, and one mountain assault brigades, one territorial defence brigade, and formations of the Ukrainian National Guard over the past week.

    The AFU losses amounted to up to 430 Ukrainian troops, three armoured fighting vehicles, 32 motor vehicles, and 24 field artillery guns.

    Air defence systems have shot down two MiG-29 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force, two Tochka-U operational-tactical missiles, two converted surface-to-surface guided missiles of the S-200 system, 17 French-made Hammer guided bombs, three U.S.-made Patriot missiles, three Neptune anti-ship missiles, 93 U.S.-made HIMARS, Czech-made Vampire, and Olkha projectiles, as well as 424 unmanned aerial vehicles.

    In addition, one Su-25 ground-attack aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force was hit by a Lancet loitering munition.

    Over the past week, 27 Ukrainian servicemen surrendered.

    You see footage of some of the latest drones Ukraine is using they have the explosive power to completely destroy a house as well as wreaking armoured vehicles..
