Russia-Ukraine War Update / June 7, 2024 / ATACMS Strike in Luhansk & Ukraine Gets French Mirages!
hey guys Chris here and I’m Ukrainian Canadian today is June 7th 2024 and let’s get to the news happening in Ukraine shall we so this is going to be a very quick update I’m not going to go over the map uh updates today because there’s really nothing to talk about no real changes so just a quick update as to what happened the last few days and with some breaking news just in for today the Ukrainian struck again luhansk City and they struck a very important Russian military base that was located very close to the airport and if you might remember last week the Ukrainian struck the airport um where the Russians had placed some of their air defense systems uh I think a complex of s3000s and S400 and the radar system uh that the Ukraine struck with ATMs ballistics and so here you can see that the ukrainians struck luhansk again now why are they stricking luhansk it’s because of its proximity to Russia in the past the ukrainians simply had very limited abilities to strike luhansk City they very far away from luhansk it’s very close to Russia and you really do need long range missiles to be able to hit luhansk at this point and so now that the ukrain have the ballistics from the United States they also have storm shadows and the scalps which are literally the same they can strike luhansk and it’s a really major hub for the Russians right now you can see that this military base if we’re looking on the map is actually right beside the airport so the Russians have centralized a lot of their activities military activities in this area so this was the uh the airport that the Ukraine struck I think last week and um the military base I think is right around here so really important hub for the Russians let’s get back to the slide you can see uh this is some of the first pictures from today so this is the C of red building probably was housing some soldiers some Commanders um and you can see how vast the facility is it might have been a multi-usage facility repair plant storage plant you can see that over here there’s a bunch of what seems to be armored vehicles um storage area ammunition Depo so there’s a lot of targets here to hit so the Russians have been operating here as far as I’m concerned since 2015 there’s uh the earliest images that we have from here with Russian soldiers is about 2015 2016 so uh they’ve been operating here very freely without any worry because they know that the ukrainians in the past they not have the weapons to strike them and now they do and so I think there’s going to be a lot more activity going on luhansk in donat I mean the ukra are not that far away from donat City but luhansk City much further way and very close to the Russian border so for the Russians this is a very logical uh City where they can transfer a lot of equipment armored vehicles set up their training camps military camps and bases uh so I’m expecting a lot more hits in Lans City in the next few weeks SL months now the other good news for today is well it was yesterday but uh following zelinsky’s visit to France uh for the D-Day uh anniversary the 80th anniversary uh maon the French President confirmed that he will be giving Ukraine um and selling it’s not giving just for free but selling uh the Mirage 2005 a multi-roll jet fight so this is an old plane from the’ 70s the late’ 7s um but we must admit that they’re far more Superior than what the Ukraine currently have the f-16s will come they will come very soon and I think Ukraine will receive about 100 of them in the next few months in total but there’s still um a necessity to have jet fighters that that are not as advanced and as expensive and I think the Mirage 2000 really feels that that hole that is missing especially because Ukraine has a very aging Fleet of Soviet jet fighters the s24 M which the ukrainians are currently using to launch the scalps and the storm Shadows have shown their age also Ukraine has limited number uh the repairs on them after a while um are going to be difficult because Ukraine is lacking the parts and so I think that the Mirage 2000 fills that um that Gap very really greatly and also you know they’re just they’re far more Superior than what the Ukrainian uh Air Force has right now the Soviet jet fighters are old uh they don’t have any like great technology and they’re slow right this Mirage 2000 the 2005 which is the latest variant as far as I’m concerned has the top speed that is twice as uh as fast compared to the s224 m so overall this is a great great announcement by France again it’s unknown how many Ukraine is going to be receiving of the Mirage 2000s but certainly it’s not going to be like two three it’s definitely going to be at least a dozen um and I think that you know in the next few months I can hope that the ukrainians will be able to uh get the appropriate training if they haven’t started yet maybe they’ve already started just an official announcement uh and they’ll be able to fly them because I did notice that in the last few months there’s been a reduction in the amount of storm shadows and scalps that were um used uh and launched on Russian position and I think that this could be also um related to the fact that the Su 24m which the ukrainians are using right now um they don’t have as many of them and obviously could be also related to the fact that Ukraine hasn’t received that many storm Shadows lately and scalp missiles but overall I think that this is a great announcement and I cannot wait to see the Mirage 2000s which of course are old planes but it’s a great way to retire them in Ukraine a last you know last couple years of flying um in Ukraine and they will do a lot of good so great announcement a huge thank you to France for providing again um great weapons to the Ukraine military and Air Force last but not least another great announcement from the United States today uh again zalinski was in France and Biden was there as far as I’m concerned and he made an announcements or the US uh uh the Biden Administration confirmed that they will be providing Ukraine with the $225 million military assistance package which will replenish the stock the stocks of haar’s missiles uh which we know the Ukraine’s fired over 300 of them the last few weeks uh some 155 mm hoers some Stinger anti-aircraft missiles which are really necessary as well in the front line um it’s still rumor it’s not really confirmed how many exactly Ukraine will be receiving but more m113 armored personnel carriers we know the Ukraine need that they need those vehicles to be able to move move um safely to the front lines more javelins at4 anti-armor systems and toll missiles for the Bradley uh IVs so overall great package and we know that the most important here is of course the high Mars because the ukrainians will certainly use them to strike Russian territory in uh the next few weeks right they need to continue putting that pressure and the Biden Administration has given the green light well I wouldn’t say given the green light but has kind of confirmed unofficially that Ukraine can strike Russia in um in a buffer zone of 300 kilm within Russia so essentially they haven’t allowed the ukrainians to strike more than that uh more than 300 kilm and of course Moscow as I’ve said my previous video Moscow St Petersburg and other cities are off limits in terms of using American weapons to strike uh large Russian cities like St Petersburg Moscow or other um you know large cities further away so that is uh you know the policy that the Biden Administration has followed in the last few years it’s always kind of giving a little bit more right um it’s up to debate you guys know my position I think that this escalation management policy at this point is unnecessary I think the ukrainians have proven that whatever Russia’s bluffing uh whatever Russia’s threatening with ESP special nuclear weapons is a bluff but that’s the way that the United States wants to uh um conduct its um you know it its policies against Russia so fair enough the ukrainians don’t really have a say because they are very reliant on American weapons so um overall this is a great package $225 million uh worth of military uh Aid and you can see that there’s far more than just what I mentioned there’s more uh ammunition heading to Ukraine that division devices demolition munition uh Patrol boats trailers to transport heavy equipment MTAR systems and more artillery rounds which are definitely necessary so that’s the update for today guys I hope you enjoyed it very quick uh overall just really great news and Ukraine continues to receive the Weaponry uh to be able to uh start you know changing the tide uh in its favor so I think that overall this summer is really going to be important for the ukra to rearm get prepared and you know stay the front line which as far as I’m concerned that’s what’s happening right now because the Russians uh I’m not really seeing any big breakthroughs or success on the Russian side so that’s the up update for today a huge thank you for your support please subscribe to my channel if you enjoy my updates and I will see you guys in the next one slav

Why do you all repeat it's a bluff? It's like the Ukrainian offensive last year
For France, one hand clapping, surprised they didn't double the price for this old technology. Pilot training probably not free, will take six months. You could call this war profiteering really.
I am a Canadian veteran, whose father and mother fought the Nazis in World war II,
My mother as aa nurse from Edmonton during the Blitz of London and my father was in the
Canadian intelligence corps, my father losing his younger brother in the Battle of Britain
it makes my blood boil to hear ignorant fools like you cheerleading an escalation that could very well lead to World war III,, The only answer is a negotiated peace not war mongering fools like you fanning the flames Try Googling " Tea with a Neo Nazi" written by the curator of the Holocaust Museum in Kiev might learn a thing or too
ATACMS is pronounced "Attack'ems", not "Attacams".

6 months training for pilots to use the Mirage fighters.
At the D-Day ceremony in France, President Zalenski of Ukraine was shaking hands with American WW-2 Veterans thanking them for saving Europe from Germany.
The D-day veterans response was to thank Zalenski for saving Europe from Russia.
It was a beautiful moment.
Thank you so much again for you up day !

Grippen would be good as well??
France big respect..Love from the UK.🇬🇧
I think what many are missing is that once someone is Trained to fly any NATO Fighter Jet. Switching to a different fighter is Much easier. Not just jump in and Go… Just Easier. The biggest learning curve is NATO Electronics and Electronic Warfare EW. It all points to Ukraine's long term Security and NATO Membership. I am not too sure Pedophile Senile Joe has the Balls to build an Air Force Base in Ukraine once they WIN.
Informative

Well yes, Biden was in France for 'D' Day but, Biden crapped his pants mid show. We now call it Biden's DOO DOO DAY…………
Shows that Russia is Scared
Ward Carrol says that Ukraine sent their best to train on F16s and they failed!! Is this just propaganda??
This cowardice approach by the Biden administration reminds me of the Obama policy in Libya of "Leading from Behind". Letting our allies know they can not count on the USA. Biden just being a puppet its unknown to me who his puppeteers are, beyond the obvious Chinese commy party.

Slava Ukraine!!!

Where are you, Jack Cowan? After calling me "Russian scum" (I'm English actually!) and repeating the Ukrainian Nazi mantra 'Slava Ukraine' as heard from the Ukrainian Nazis as they burned Poles alive, mainly women and children, in 1942 – you then deleted your post!
Slava Ukraine!!!
Funny how you are pronouncing ATACMS 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hi Chris I’m also a Ukrainian Canadian like yourself and appreciate your videos, you do a great job 👍. My beef with the Western docile strategy is that the West is providing Ukraine with yesterday’s weapons which work and help Ukraine but don’t deliver as much pain to Russia as newer weapons would. I understand that it’s cheaper for the US to provide equipment that’s shortly deemed obsolete to Ukraine than new weapon systems however it’s not deterring Moskva from proceeding with their war of destroying Ukraine. Ukraine doesn’t have the human capital that Russia has and needs to preserve their soldiers as much as possible! Ukraine needs significant technological advantage over Russia to put the fear of God into them and stop this war. Unfortunately the West’s strategy has only emboldened Putin to proceed with his war, Ukraine needs technological advantages to level the playing field and punish the Bolsheviks harshly. The West has always been two steps too slow and it’s killing our people 😭
