COP29 climate hosts say they’ll keep expanding fossil fuels

1. Fossil production curtails efforts in renewables.

   It’s like moving back the finish line the closer a runner gets to it.

   These COPs have been infiltrated by a cancer and have lost all credibility.

   Time to start a new climate conference with better gate keeping.

2. Hah! Look at that! A “COP truce”. As if the crisis was going to give them a break.

3. Fossil fuels can’t compete economically with renewables in a free market. Petrofascist states will try to keep their thumb on the scales for as long as possible but the smart money is divesting in all fossil fuels and investing in renewables instead.

4. I don’t see the point of these COPs anymore given that they seem to have been captured by oil interests.

5. move COP29 to a country serious about ending fossil fuel use.
