  1. I assume it was also accompanied by a “LOL and what are you gonna do about it, huh?”

  2. > Clarence Thomas eventually discloses some trips ‘gifted’ by GOP megadonor

    FTFY

  3. …this behavior should trigger a quality assuarance review and after one warning removal from court is immediate…if you write down standards and consequences (leave out bias political vote approval) we could manage these corrupt inevitables…

  4. Which is worse, that he took these gifts, or that he has no fear of consequences for shouting it from the rooftops, or that the US does not have a legitimate Supreme Court, or…?

  5. He only disclosed two of the trips and none of the other bribes.

  6. Impeachment is the only appropriate response to this level of corruption

  7. Did he add some pubic hairs to it, like he did to Anita Hill’s Coke?

  8. Time to elect people who will expand the court and impose ethics. There is a lot the Senate can do if they have enough Dems.

  9. Stop the donations. Start holding people like Harlan crow and the adeleson family responsible. This isn’t their fucking country…. It’s ours. They are radical and warped people.

  10. Not enough is made of how fucked up that oil painting of these corrupt assholes is. 38 trips paid for by billionaires. No wonder Crow commissioned an oil painting of all his friends in high places

  11. Biden needs to expand the court and cite this as evidence as to why.

  12. It’s not a voluntary disclosure if you only tell people AFTER YOU GET BUSTED

  13. Corrupt, corrupt, corrupt, and this is only the shit we know about.

  14. IRS employees can even accept anything that is valued for more than $25.

Hell, most employees don’t even want to take a bottle of water because they my be accused of a bride.

  15. Wonder how total SC gifts breaks down across each individual or party? Thomas: 80%, Alito: 5%, Kavanaugh:7%, Barrett: 5% … Sotomayor:0.004% Kagan:0.0003%, Jackson: 0.000001%

  16. Just face it the system is BROKE!! and not a single solitary HERO is coming to the rescue. Much less even gives a BRAY MULE’S WHO’HA!!! This is the 21st CENTURY AMERICAN LEGACY..Can I Get a MEGADONOR WITNESS?

  17. He should resign. With all of these generous friends he should be fine. Unless…he’s worried about the gifts stopping when he not on the Supreme Court anymore…

  18. How is this not blatantly illegal???? Biden make a move here.

  19. Shameful. These very wealthy people don’t even interact with average people but when access to a Supreme court Judge comes along, suddenly they want to be your friend and throw trips and other benefits at ya. And then the Judge gladly accepts. God damnit, we pay the guy to make sound decisions. This is unbelievably awful decision making.

  20. Maybe make him pay taxes a the “Value” of said trips and grifts. Or charge him with TAX evasion?

  21. So, it sounds like Uncle Rukus knows he is in trouble. Just need to see what comes from this besides a cow congratulating him for his actions against our nation and it’s law abiding citizens.

  22. So many trips. How does he have time to do some judging.

  23. Clarence Thomas didn’t “disclose” these trips. ProPublic did, over a year ago. He just finally admitted it.

“Oh, you mean THAT trip to Bali that was paid for by a billionaire Republican donor. Yes, I did go to Bali now that you mention it.”

  24. While Trump is part of the sedition plan, the true criminal behind the hijacking of SCOTUS is LEONARD LEO
He is rejecting a congressional subpoena
The FBI, needs to arrest him immediately

  25. Such blatant, obvious corruption from the highest court and Republicans will continue to enable this ridiculous behavior.

  26. This Country is Fucked.

Civility is gone when the gatekeepers of honesty, loyalty and integrity are just commodities to be purchased by Rich special interests groups.

    There’s no checks and balance.

Be fair… open up the prison; let the people out if law no longer matters.

  27. It’s funny how they’re ‘inadvertently omitted’ quite regularly.

  28. Now how about disclosing all the ones we *don’t* know about

  29. This is like saying you didn’t commit tax fraud, you just made mistakes in your taxes for the last 40 years: the exact same kind of mistake, over and over in every year’s tax return for 40 years. And now you’ve filed a few corrected returns, so everything is OK and you didn’t do a crime.

  30. In big corporations they make employees take training regarding taking presents from clients and they specifically tell you to decline anything no matter how unegregious simply on the basis that it could be perceived as bribery (doesn’t matter if it really was). They may say something like if you get tickets to a concert worth $200 and some cookies then you must decline the tickets but the cookies you can keep as a gesture of goodwill.

Basically, why the fuck aren’t standards like these being applied to supposedly the highest court in the USA? Doesn’t seem that high in terms of moral standards…
