‘The U.S. is standing with you’: Biden apologizes to Zelenskyy for holdup in assistance to Ukraine

just moments ago President Biden met with Ukrainian President Vladimir zalinski in Paris where he again reiterated that America stands with Ukraine even apologize for the delayed security funding while blaming Republicans for the hold out Mr President it’s good to see you again going to be thank you so much I uh you know uh as I said yesterday at the American cemetery the uh Ukrainian people have been incredibly Brave never given up never staying never never even yielding and it’s impressive and uh you saw the reception you reive when everyone stood gave you a stand in Ovation and they deserve it you deserve it and U you know uh you haven’t bowed down you haven’t yield it at all you continue to fight in a way that is uh just remarkable just remarkable and uh we’re not going to walk away from you I apologize for the uh those weeks of not knowing what’s going to in terms of funding because uh we had trouble getting the bill that we had to pass had the money in it from some of our very conservative members who were holding it up but we got it done finally and uh since then including today I’ve announced six packages of significant funding today I’m also signed an additional package for $225 million to help you reconstruct the the electric grid and uh and uh but once we got the National Security bill passed that uh was a political issue um we were able to get it all done and uh the way you’ve stood and holding on holding on in K and uh you’re proven once again the people of Ukraine cannot and will never be overtaken and uh I assure you the United States is going to stand with you I’ve you said that all during this debate I continue to say it the United States is standing with you you are the bullwark against the aggression that’s taking place we have an obligation to be there and uh so I’m looking forward to having a detailed discussion with you about a hour ago from here but we’re still in completely thoroughly thank you thank you so much Mr President first of all thank you so much for your significant support you your Administration we are very thankful from all ukrainians uh to your Military Support financial support humanitarian one and of course it’s very important and our meeting here is very symbolic it’s very important that you stay with us this by partisan support with the Congress it’s very important that in this Unity United States America All American people stay with Ukraine like it was during World War II how United States helped to save human lives to save Europe and we count on your continuing support and standing with us shoulder to- shoulder thank you so much and uh this big package which been signed it and support it and voted and uh it’s very important it’s so necessary for for this for the feeling of our people that we are not alone we are with you with our strategic partner and of course we I want today to to speak about transing of har region you said already it’s so important and your decisions been very very um had a very positive influence I don’t want to share it everything all the details with press story but I think there are some details on the battlefield which which you you you need to hear from us we are thankful for this also I want to speak about Terror defense totally on our territory and we are thankful for participation peace Summit on the level of uh wi president thank you so much we think that we will have more than 100 countries and uh I I hope that it will be first step on this way to peace we need peace in Ukraine but we will stay anyway stay strong and of course I want to discuss some future events thank you again

President Joe Biden on Friday apologized to Ukraine for the holdup in American military assistance that let Russia make gains on the battlefield, as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appealed for bipartisan U.S. support.

  14. It started from the Infamous "Maidan Insurrection" in Kyiv in 2014, by NATO to overthrow an elected UKR President. Will NATO suffer from Biden's fall climbing up the stairs?

  15. Biden doesn’t hesitate to blame Congress for delays. Yet, Biden has delayed providing Ukraine with the weapons they needed since the start of the war. Ukraine asked for Himars, battle tanks, jets, and precision guided weapons and permission to attack Russia based weapons that have been firing into Ukraine. Biden refused each time citing fears of escalating. Each time, Biden ended back tracking, finally giving Ukraine what there asked for months/years after being asked. In since cases (ie tanks and jets) the weapons arrived long after they were needed. Biden IS the delay. The blood of brave Ukrainian people and soldiers are on Biden’s hands. He’s too slow to react, but what do you expect from a decrepit old man?

  23. Millions of people in the US are homeless. Millions are losing their homes and thousands have lost their homes due to high property taxes and exorbitant insurance rates. Thousands of US veterans are homeless. Thousands of elderly cannot eat twice a day . Many elderly cannot afford their prescription medications. Many US families being evicted due to inflation. Many US families working two and three jobs to try and make ends meet. Just speechless.

  31. Biden apologizes to blame the Republicans and Zelenenski likes to put the blame on anyone even on his commanders who are fired or the weather or on Putin that he forgot to remind him about the coming attacks.
