I can’t beleive that this is still a story. There is a reason it wasn’t a story when it happened and it is not a story now. Is he a dirt ball? Most likely yes. How do you get this job? When I took a job for state judiciary IT work I was told I couldn’t so much as have a lawn sign for election. I was told to not even pick up and correct one that had fallen over. I was to remain neutral at all times and I wasn’t even working cases.
That said the rest of the org was corrupt as fuck and I’m glad to be out of there. You think the cops are bad in the US? Most judges power trip even harder.

If you are willing to put out your political statements, you should have the presumption that you will be accosted.
Either you get people saying “Fuck yeah!” or you get people saying “Fuck you!”
I am not the kind of person to need anybody to validate my feelings, and I don’t really need to give anybody a reason to accost me.
I laugh when I see signs that I disagree with. If anybody wants to confront me for finding their opinion so stupid I laugh, again, on them. I really don’t feel the need to even acknowledge anybody’s stupid bumper stickers or lawn signs. Nothing good is going to come from it.
Like I said, at best, you get some people going ‘Yeah! I agree with you!’ If you need that validation, I don’t think you are as put together as you think, for real.
