Why is Wetherspoons so cheap?

and that is the big question how does weather spoons keep the prices so cheap I think there’s no secret we we sell a lot of beer yeah uh which is the key thing we got bigger pubs than average and um we uh we’ve got very long-term relationships with our beer suppliers so they know we’re not buying it for 3 months or 6 months our longest contract now has got 17 years to go so uh I think a combination of those things but the guy from Walmart put it very well started biggest retailer in the world he said we sell three for two and that’s true of weather spoon we our average sales per Pub are probably far more than double most PB

The boss of Wetherspoons has spilled the secrets on why its drinks are so cheap as the chain gears up for 50 giant “Super Spoons”.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Sir Tim Martin busted the urban myth that Wetherspoons’ drinks are so cheap because it buys short-dated beer that is about to go off.

  1. Wetherspoons is the only pub I have ever returned a pint for another one, they have me another pint that tasted just the same. Tastes like swill. I left it on the bar and walked out. It's cheaper because it's bottom of the barrel swill

  2. 3 weatherspoons near to where I live have all closed down, one of which was getting a huge renovation at a very popular seaside area but they just stopped building and is now an eye sore, can’t be doing that well

  3. Forgot to mention the minimum wage workers, staff cuts and having 18 year old kids doing the job of three people. Keep your victorian sweatshop going mate
