As a train conductor i can tell you that this saw is meant for use by both travelers and personel in case of an emergency or accident. We have used it on branches blocking the door, or smaller trees standing in the way of evacuation! Often trains in norway are driving close to branches etc, so in a evacuation case, this tool is quite handy, and you’ll find it on all trains!
