The little hammer to break the windows I understand. What are you supposed to use the saw for?

  1. Saw off your leg when it’s stuck between carriages after derailment.

  2. In case the person next to you is snoring, you can one-up them

  3. You can saw through a « foiled window », which can be shattered but very hardly broken through (such as a windshield on a car).

  4. If the train derails somewhere remote you can use it to build shelter and defensive structures while you wait for help to arrive

  5. As a train conductor i can tell you that this saw is meant for use by both travelers and personel in case of an emergency or accident. We have used it on branches blocking the door, or smaller trees standing in the way of evacuation! Often trains in norway are driving close to branches etc, so in a evacuation case, this tool is quite handy, and you’ll find it on all trains!
