Over 19,000 deported children have been identified. As of May 29, 2024, 388 children have been returned to Ukraine. However, up to 744,000 Ukrainian children may still be in Russia.

Russia must not only be defeated, but also destroyed and broken into as many small states as possible. Let the Russian “Empire” be a thing of the past.
I despair at the absolute avalanche of mental health problems that these children, the veterans and other people in Ukraine will be facing for decades to come. Besides the reconstruction planning and all that there needs to be an absolutely massive and unprecedented flow of mental health therapists, medicine and equipment to deal with what will be an enormous backlog of people that will need long term therapy.
That last one makes my skin crawl. Would be traumatic for most adults, let alone a child.
