  4. As a a guy that also likes Sporting(the club i like the most in my country) i am happy for him,but i think Ugarte was the best option but very expensive and PSG wouldn’t sell him

  5. I don’t see how Palhinha would fit Kompanys style at all, especially with our centrebacks not being the best at playmaking either

  11. I Said this month ago. Palhinha 6 and Pavlovic 8 has to be the perfect midfield for Bayern right now.

    With Kompanys playstyle a holding 6 should be the most important transfer target this summer.

  12. Haven’t there been reports last season that Tuchel was the driving force behind our interest in Palhinha? Now that Kompany took over wouldn’t it make more sense to go for a more well-rounded CM instead of spending €40m or more for a holding six that might not even be the best fit for Kompany’s playing style.

    I mean Javi didn’t fit Pep’s system and was demoted to being a rotational CB instead of starting in midfield back in the days.

  13. A soon to be 29 years old player that fits much more TT style of football than Kompanys..I’m not sold tbh but if it’s happens I will give him a chance

  14. I hope it happens, Palhinha is by all means a destroyer, so if he can do that, Kimmich, Pavlovic and Laimer would thrive, especially if we play a 4-3-3. Having a real CDM destroyer would also be a relief to the back line, so it’s likely we’d see less errors on the build up and defensive phases. This could be not the biggest, but the most important transfer for the sake of the team’s balance in the recent seasons.

    We had to sacrifice a season, Tuchel and our credibility to finally get a type of player we currently don’t have and that every single coach are asking for 3 years.
