  3. New details about the operation to rescue the kidnapped:

    * Name of the promotion: “Summer Seeds”.(update: the operation was renamed to operation “Arnon” the Yamam commander who succumbed to his injuries after being critically wounded during the operation)
    * The two buildings where the four abductees were held were about 200 meters apart. The decision to operate in both buildings at the same time – because of the proximity between the sites, and the fear that if they choose to operate only in one building – the terrorists who are in the other building will sense the events and kill the abductees who are being held by them.
    * In the apartment where the 3 abductees Almog, Andrey and Shlomi were kept, a difficult and complex battle took place. In this battle, Commander Arnon Zamora was mortally wounded by terrorist fire, while leading the team under his command in breaking into the building. The late Arnon showed tremendous bravery, and there was a prolonged attempt to keep him alive, but in the end they had to pronounce him dead in the hospital.

  9. Since these “civilians” are just pretending, shouldn’t there have been some heavy artillery ready to clear out space? 

    I mean reaction force got there on time but heavy artillary always a nice thing to have to clear the way.
