  1. Well done, looks like built just recently 🙂

Did the restauration take a long time? Over here, depending on the building’s condition, we’re talking about a decade (at least) for such projects.

  2. This is known as Casa Mita Biciclista (the house of Mita the cyclist)

  3. I hope Budapest is taking notes. So, so many old buildings deserve better. Looks great.

  4. Wait, this is Mița Biciclista’s house, this building had been in great shape for a long time and it’s very popular in the winter too when it puts Christmas decorations. But yeah, the square wasn’t that way until recently.

  5. As a Dutch person I am highly envious of this. We hardly have old buildings and the ones we have are very plain.

  6. Looks very nice! But as a Dutchman those red lights tell me something else

  7. Among the architects I know there is so much disdain for ornament it’s crazy. But everywhere I go people love it, value it, are drawn to it. I don’t understand why those responsible for new buildings have seemingly lost touch with those who they’re building for. Glad that things like this can still happen.
