  3. If they are killed dont expect it to trigger Article 5. I am all about providing Ukraine with what they need to fight Russia, but if a NATO country sends its people in, that’s on them. France is not going to draw the US into a war against its will. Sorry.

  5. Not confronting Russia enables their aggression, which promotes escalation.

    Beating Russia back across their borders promotes de-escalation.

  6. It looks like France is done with the German-American approach. Every other European country can be stopped by Biden, except France. They managed to stop the Gripens from Sweden. They managed to slow down the delivery of F-16s, and later the training of pilots. What it looks like, is that the Americans made some secret deals with the Russians when the FBI director went there ahead of the war, and now they are pussyfooting around Russian red lines that they didn’t even need to acknowledge in the first place. The Biden administration has badly misplayed this whole situation – let France take the lead, I am all for it. Vive la France!
