Tomorrow is the yearly “Sirenentest”, where we test our air horns. So be warned for tomorrow afternoon. Should start around 13:30.
I work quite close to an AKW (you can actually see it). I’ll tell my coworkers that I’ve heard that they are currently oing some sketchy stuff over there and that it might explode And if they hear the siren they’ll know why.
Good to see that our taxes are getting used for important stuff…
Sorry, but this is the most useless thing ever. Why would these stupid alarms not work all of a sudden? And even if, why don’t we test them for just 2 minutes? No, they have to test them all afternoon and get on everybody’s nerves. How paranoid are we that we do this every year?
But then again have I ever witnessed that they actually had to use the sirens? Yes! And guess what? It was on alarm testing day. Of course, nobody thought that something is wrong (it was alarm testing day after all). So they had to send cars with speakers to every neighborhood informing people that the alarm is not a test.
