1. it’s called “kaputt” – which means broken.

4. Depends.

   Either Silikon (for wet rooms) or Maleracryl. Probably Silikon since it’s a kitchen.

   If you want to repair it you need to remove all of it and then squirt the whole Fuge with new stuff, since new Silikon doesn’t stick to old one.

5. It’s silicone gout (Silikon Fugen). You get it in a tube at a Baumarkt…

6. The whole thing is called Abschlussleiste, to be more prezise, that on the picture is a Wandabschlussleiste.

   Modern ones come with elastic material like silicone profiles where it touches the wall and the countertop.

   This one is either an old one without such a profile or silicone gout was used to make it fit or to make sure no water gets behind from sloppy tennants being careless with water.
