All the objectors should be forced to take in lodgers gratis. People need somewhere to live.
A new residential development next to a dual carriageway and an existing bus stop! How could they even consider this kind of unsustainable growth? Just think of the queues at the Subway in the Londis, for god’s sake!
Build it to fuck
I am Jacks lack of surprise.
how much would be the rent? I saw some of the build to rent project’s plans they look horrendous. we need better standard buildings for renters
People are hilarious saying these new build to rent places have terrible standards…have they seen the state of places up on daft at the moment 😂
This scheme is actually really nice, I have looked at the architecture drawings at work, generous unit sizes(above most standards) generous outdoor space, decent bike parking per unit and 12 storeys is far from over density considering sandyford has a number of them and that’s not exactly city centre. Honestly at this stage it’s disgraceful that residents associations have so much power over their area. And of course foxrock residents association being the worst most restrictive group out there. I remember my neighbour got told that there newly painted door ( seaside blue) doesn’t agree with the local aesthetic, honestly baffling.
Edit: they were told to re-paint it or face a fine
“Muh skyline”
We need a law that when the leader of Ireland says we are in a housing crisis, local opposition goes out the window. Build, build, build even if it’s too many because this will force down the prices and give a forgotten generation hope.
