I imagine if an MSP claimed funds for non-Parliamentary business it would be a massive issue. Say, if they took £11,000 out of taxpayer money. For their kids to watch a football game. In Morocco. And lied about it for months.
Yeah, that’d be an unacceptable scenario.

😉😉😉
Must feel good to be on the attack on this subject for a change.
Whilst I fully agree with John on this, I think it would be wise to just say nothing on this occasion 🙂
He’ll say it was his kids running the line and Swinney will believe him.
Then when he gets caught out that it wasn’t his kids, Swinney will be tell him aye that’s fine and don’t worry we’ll vote against any suspension and dock of pay.
That’s the playbook for expenses fraud right?
Time for the ‘Whataboutery’ to switch sides.
Remind me Swinney, who tried to defraud the public of £11k? Who stood up for them?
Yeah. Seems like you don’t actually care about dodgy expenses.
